This tax-deductible donation will help one youth attend a workforce builders camp here in the Cedar Valley.

This camp is centered around a woodworking project and learning to grow hydroponics. The camp, structured like a workforce experience, will allow youth to gain the soft skills needed to enter the workforce. Skills learned will include:

Woodworking: Miter box saw, hand saw, drill, pocket screws, sanding, painting
Soft skills: Communication, teamwork, leadership, work ethic, decision making, & critical thinking
Growing: Seeding, propagation, nutrients, & harvesting your lettuce grow
Entrepreneurial: The economy of local food, how to sell locally, tax & license responsibilities
